Bharathi Engineering Works

Bharathi Engineering Works is over at 167 Rajajinagar, in the Ram Vadi area. It is a pretty well-known part of town. Our place is a straightforward engineering shop. We have the usual setup with lathes and some welding equipment in the back. The front is where we talk to people about what they need fixed or built. We don't have any polished floors or air conditioning. It is just a regular workshop where we work with our hands. The neighborhood of Ram Vadi is quite lively. We have neighbors who have been here as long as we have. We usually start the day by opening up the big metal shutters and sweeping out the front. Most of our work comes from local people or other small businesses in Rajajinagar. We don't use any complicated systems for our work. We just look at the job, figure out how to do it, and get started. Sometimes things take a bit longer if a machine breaks down, but that’s just how it goes. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that written on the wall. We just have a calendar and a list of things to do. We’ve been doing this for years, and we plan to keep doing it the same way. It is just honest engineering work in a place where people know our names.
