Belavadi Tool Room

We have been running Belavadi Tool Room for quite some time now over at 10th Main in the BSK Iti Stage area. If you know Bangalore, you know how the traffic gets around here, but we manage to get things done despite the noise outside. Our shop is tucked away in the 7th Layout on 4th Cross. It is mostly just us working with the machines and making sure the tools are cut right. Some days are busier than others. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a place where we come every morning, open up the shutters, and start the day’s work. Most of the people around here know us as the local tool guys. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New buildings come up every month it seems. Inside the shop, it’s mostly the smell of oil and the sound of metal hitting metal. We keep our schedules simple. Usually, one of us is tracking the orders while the others are at the back. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We spend a lot of time just checking and re-checking the specs on the parts we make. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just part of life here. We just try to get the work out the door without too much fuss and without making a big deal of it.
