Ballal Residency

Ballal Residency is situated at 74/4 on the 3rd Cross of Residency Road. If you know Bangalore, you know how packed this area gets with cars and people. We have been here for years, tucked away just a bit from the main noise. The building has seen a lot of people come and go over the seasons. My day usually starts with checking the registers and seeing what needs to be repaired. In an older residency like this, there is always a tap leaking or a light that needs changing. We have a small group of staff who help out with the cleaning and the front desk. We don't go in for any of that corporate talk; we just run the place as best as we can. It’s a practical building for people who need to stay in the center of the city without spending too much. The 3rd Cross can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking for it, but once people find us, they often come back. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy and making sure the water is running right. It’s not always easy, especially when the city power goes out or the traffic blocks the entrance, but we make it work. It's just a local business trying to provide a place to sleep for travelers. It is a busy life here in the city. There is always someone new at the door or a phone ringing in the hallway.
