Balaji Engineering

Our shop is tucked away on Dongarsi Road, right in the middle of Kamakshi Palya. If you know number 1471, that’s where you’ll find Balaji Engineering. It’s a bit of a crowded street, so parking is always a headache for anyone visiting. We spend our days mostly working with tools and machines. It gets oily and loud, but that’s the nature of engineering work. Most of the guys here have been with us for years. We aren't really the type to post on social media or do big advertisements. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them we were here. The building isn't new, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the machines inside work just fine. We keep things simple. You come in, tell us what you need fixed or built, and we see if we can do it. Sometimes we’re too busy and there’s a wait, but we try to be honest about that. The neighborhood has a lot of small shops like ours. It feels like a community where everyone knows who is doing what. On rainy days, the water pools up a bit near the entrance, so watch your step if you come by. We’re just regular people trying to do a decent job every day without making a big fuss about it. We close up around seven most nights and walk home, tired but glad to have the work.
