Baba Engineering Enterprises has been at No. 42 on the 5th Cross for quite a while now. This part of the industrial town in Rajajinagar is always moving. Most days, we are just here among the machines and the noise. It’s not a fancy setup at all. The floor is stained with oil and there’s always metal scrap lying around that needs to be cleared. We don't have a sales team or anyone to answer the phones in a professional way. Usually, whoever is closest just picks it up with grease on their hands. The 5th Cross is a narrow place and sometimes trucks getting in and out make a real mess of the traffic. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of jobs we have. It gets really hot in the afternoons under the tin roof, but we’ve gotten used to that over the years. We don't really do the whole corporate mission thing. We just take the drawings or the parts people bring in and we work on them until they are right. Sometimes we stay late when a job is urgent, and other times it's a bit quieter. It's just a regular workshop where we do engineering work. People in Rajajinagar know where to find us if they need something done. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the work we do every day.
