B K Joshi Architects & Interior Desiners, Belgaum

Our office for B K Joshi Architects & Interior Desiners is on Tavarekere Main Road in Bangalore, even though the name mentions Belgaum. We are in the S S Building, Site Number 24, right on the 3rd Cross in Brindavan Nagar. It is a busy little area. The building is 1/1, so it is easy to find once you get on the right cross street. We do a mix of architecture and interior work for various clients. It is a bit of a tight space sometimes with all the files and the material samples we have to keep for reference. We started out with a connection to Belgaum but most of our daily grind is here in Bangalore now. The traffic on Tavarekere Main Road can be a real headache, so we try to schedule our site visits early in the morning or late in the evening. We do not have any fancy marketing people. It is just us doing the drawings and talking to people about their houses or shops. Some days are just spent on the phone trying to track down where a delivery went or why a contractor is late. We have a few staff members who stay busy with the CAD work. We like the neighborhood, even if it gets noisy with the traffic and the shops. There is a lot of tea drinking while we look over floor plans. We are not trying to be the biggest firm out there. We just want to get the designs right.
