Atelier D'Arts And Architecture Pvt Ltd has been based here for a while, and we’ve grown used to the noise and the pace of the city. We’re a small team that likes to get our hands dirty with actual design work rather than sitting in long meetings. Our office is usually a bit of a mess with sketches, material samples, and half-finished models everywhere. We do a mix of things, from the basic structural planning to the more artistic side of architecture. Shivajinagar is a great place to be because everything we need is just around the corner. We spend our time trying to figure out how to make spaces work better for the people who use them. It’s not about being the biggest firm in Bangalore 560001, just about doing work we can stand behind. People walk in off the street sometimes just to talk about a small renovation or a new shop they’re opening. We try to be helpful and give them honest answers. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes long hours, but seeing a project finally get built makes it worth the effort. We’re just regular people who happened to choose architecture as our trade and Shivajinagar as our home. We like the grit of this neighborhood and the way it keeps us grounded in reality.
