We've been here at Kaveri Layout for a good while now. It’s a quiet enough spot most days, though it gets a bit busier when the college students are around. Our office is over at number 7, and if you’ve ever walked down this way toward the D.R. College post office, you’ve probably passed us. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular building where we handle all our import and export paperwork. Some mornings are spent just sorting through files and making sure everything is where it should be. We deal with a lot of different goods, so there’s usually something new coming across the desk every week. The fans hum all day long, and we try to keep the windows open when the weather allows. It’s mostly just us doing our thing, making sure the orders go out and the shipments get tracked properly. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a short break, but otherwise, it's just steady work from nine till five. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, more houses going up and the roads getting paved differently, but we stayed right here. It’s easy for people to find us once they know we’re near the college. We don't have a big flashing sign or anything like that. Just the name on the gate and a few people inside trying to stay on top of the day’s tasks. It works for us.
