Ashok here. I have been sitting at this desk at 927 Jayanagar Ac Road for quite some years now. My office is on the first floor, so people have to walk up the stairs when they want to talk about their insurance. It is a simple place, nothing too fancy, just some chairs and a lot of files. Jayanagar is a busy area and the road outside gets loud sometimes. People come in mostly to ask about their renewals or if they lost a document. I try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the corner of the table. Usually, I am here from morning until late evening. If the door is open, it means I am in. Dealing with insurance is mostly about looking at numbers and dates. I see a lot of the same faces from around the neighborhood. Some people stay for tea, others just want to get their papers signed and leave quickly because of the traffic outside. I do not have a big team or anything, just me and occasionally someone to help with the filing. It gets a bit dusty with the window open, but I like seeing the street. Most days are quiet unless it is the end of the month when everyone realizes their policy is ending. I just keep track of things in my ledger and help out where I can with the forms.
