Our place is located in Thyagarajanagar, right opposite the petrol bunk in Rayappa Garden. It is a familiar spot for people living around the 2nd Block. The building has been here for a while, and it looks like a typical neighborhood function hall. We have the main area where the weddings happen and then the dining part where everyone goes to eat. It is not a five-star hotel, just a practical space for families to get together. Usually, there is a lot of activity when a function is booked, with decorators coming in early and trucks unloading chairs. When there are no events, it is quite quiet, and we just spend the time cleaning up or checking the lights. The address is No. 4, and you can’t really miss it because of the petrol bunk across the road. We see a lot of people coming and going every day. Sometimes the street gets a bit blocked with cars during big weddings, which is something we try to manage as much as we can. The rooms for the bride and groom are simple, just the basic stuff they need to get ready. It’s a lot of work keeping a big place like this running, but we have a small team that handles the sweeping and the maintenance. It’s just a local hall for the community here, nothing too complicated about how we operate. We spend a lot of time just rolling up the old carpets and putting them away.
