The school is tucked away in Koramangala at 192/6. It is a fairly quiet street compared to the main roads nearby, which is good when you are trying to listen to music. We have been here for a bit now, and the neighbors have mostly gotten used to the sound of scales and practice coming from the windows. It is not a huge place, just a few rooms set up for different instruments. We have some old benches for parents to sit on while they wait for their kids to finish up. Sometimes the rooms get a bit cramped when we have more than two people in there, but we make it work. I started this because I wanted a place for people in the neighborhood to come and learn without having to travel too far. The walls are covered in some old posters and some music sheets that have been there for years. We usually start classes in the late afternoon when school is out. It gets pretty busy around 5 PM. I try to keep the instruments in good shape, but with so many students using them, there is always a string breaking or a key sticking. We do not have a big sign outside, so you have to look for the number 192/6 on the gate. It is a bit of a walk from the bus stop but not too bad if the weather is nice. We just focus on the lessons and keeping the instruments tuned up.
