Arya Bhangy

We are located at B1, Devatha Plaza on 131 Residency Road. It’s right across from the Cash Pharmacy, which is a big landmark around here, and it’s also opposite Residency Road according to how the post finds us. Arya Bhangy has been in this spot for a while, and we’ve seen the road change quite a bit over the years. Our space in the plaza is where we keep our furniture and carved pieces. It’s not a huge place, but we pack a lot into it. When you walk in, it’s usually quiet, a nice break from the noise of the main street outside. We don’t have a big team of sales people following you around. Usually, it’s just one or two of us around to answer questions if you have them. We spend a lot of time checking the wood and making sure the finishes are okay. It’s more of a traditional way of doing things. We don't use much technology for the sake of it. A lot of our business comes from people just walking past or locals who have known us for a long time. The pharmacy across the street is a good marker if you’re trying to find our entrance in the plaza. We just try to keep the shop tidy and the pieces looking decent for whoever stops in. It’s a steady job and we like being part of the neighborhood, even when the traffic out front gets a bit much for us.
