Arvind Forging & Engineering

The machines at Arvind Forging & Engineering make a lot of noise throughout the day. We are located in Peenya Industrial Area, 1st Stage, specifically on the 3rd Cross at B 131. If you walk inside, you will see a lot of metal scraps and oil on the ground. It is hot near the forging area, and we all wear heavy boots to stay safe. We deal with raw metal and turn it into parts that other companies need for their machines. It's not clean work; everyone ends the shift with grease under their fingernails and dirt on their clothes. The industrial area is always full of trucks and the sound of hammers. We have some old lathes and milling machines that have been around for years, but they still work fine if you know how to handle them. Sometimes we get a big order and have to stay late to finish the forging. The heat can be a bit much in the summer months. We don't have a fancy office or air conditioning here. It's just a workshop where things get made. We spend a lot of time checking measurements with calipers to make sure things aren't too far off. It is hard work, but it’s what we do. The 1st Stage of Peenya is a busy place to be, and there is always something moving. Most of us have been working here for years now and we are used to the noise.
