Arun Engineers

Up here on Sampige Road in Malleshwaram, things move pretty fast. Arun Engineers is tucked into house number 6-17-58. It’s an old part of town and we’ve seen a lot of changes around here over the years. We deal with machines and parts mostly. The floor is usually covered in some grease or metal shavings because there’s always something being fixed or put together. It isn’t a quiet place. There is always the sound of a drill or a motor running in the background. We have a small team of guys who have been with us for a long time. They know their way around a toolbox better than anyone. We don’t have a big fancy reception area for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us in our work shirts talking about some technical problem. We take lunch breaks together when we can, usually getting something from the local place down the street. The weather in Bangalore is nice, but inside the workshop it can get a bit stuffy during the hot afternoons. We just keep the fans going and get the work done. People around Malleshwaram know where to find us if they need something sorted out. We don’t make big promises, we just look at the job and tell you if it can be done or not. It’s a straightforward way to run a business and it works for us.
