Art Of Motorcycles

You’ll find Art Of Motorcycles at No 51/7 on 1st Main Road. We are in Pukhraj Layout, which is near Bannerghatta Road in Adugodi. The shop is basically a garage filled with bikes in various states of being fixed. There’s oil stains on the concrete that have been there since we opened. We don't have a fancy waiting room with a TV. People usually just stand around and talk while we work on their machines. We mostly handle older bikes that need a bit of extra care. It’s a lot of greasy work. Our hands are almost always black from the engines. We’ve been at this spot for several years now. Most of the people who come here are regulars. They know we don't have a big staff. It’s just a couple of us who really like motorcycles. We spend a lot of time hunting for parts that aren't made anymore. Sometimes we have to go to the scrap markets on the other side of town. It’s not a clean job, and it’s definitely not quiet. The sound of tools and engines is constant. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name painted on the wall. We stay late most nights when there’s a tricky engine problem. It’s just what we do because we like seeing these old bikes back on the road.
