Arshith Engineering Works

You can find us at No.729/2 on Laggere Road in Peenya. We are right near the SRS Gate. Peenya is a big industrial area, so there is always the sound of machinery in the background. Arshith Engineering Works is a small shop compared to some of the giants around here. We have a few lathes and a welding machine that’s seen better days. My father started this place, and now I’m the one looking after it. We have a couple of guys who help out with the heavy lifting. The roof is made of tin sheets, so it gets quite loud when it rains. We have a small corner with a table and two chairs where we handle the bills. It’s mostly covered in grease stains and old drawings. We don't have a lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you just walk in and shout over the noise. We take on small jobs that the bigger factories don't want to bother with. It’s steady work. We don't have a logo or a slogan. We just have a pile of scrap metal in the yard and some finished parts waiting to be picked up. The tea guy comes by at eleven every morning. That’s usually our only break. We just keep our heads down and get the parts finished. Sometimes we work late if a job is particularly stubborn or if the power was out during the day.
