Aroma Florists

Aroma Florists is located at No.4 Kariappabhavan, which is right opposite St.Joseph Evening College on Museum Road. It’s a central spot, so we see a lot of students and office workers passing by throughout the day. Our shop isn't very large, but it’s full of whatever we’ve brought in for the day. Working at Kariappabhavan means we’re right in the middle of the action on Museum Road. We spend our mornings sorting through things and making sure everything is tidy. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and working with our hands. We don't use a lot of fancy technology here. We just have our tools and the workspace at No.4. Sometimes the noise from the college or the traffic on Museum Road gets a bit loud, but we’re used to it. We aren't a big chain store with a corporate office. It’s just us at the shop. When people come in, they’re usually in a hurry, so we try to be quick. We do all the arranging and the cleaning ourselves. It’s a messy job sometimes, with bits of stems and leaves all over the floor by the end of the shift. We just sweep it up and start again the next day. It’s a simple business located in a very busy part of town. We’ve been here for a while and know the local rhythm. We just stay focused on the flowers.
