Armstrong Manufacturing Center

We’ve been in this spot in the 4th Phase for a long time now. You know how Peenya gets during the day, it's just trucks and noise everywhere. Inside the Armstrong Manufacturing Center, it’s mostly just us working through the piles of orders. We do a lot of the heavy lifting here. Some days the machines run smooth and other days we spend half the morning fixing a belt or cleaning out the metal scraps. It’s not a fancy place at all. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but the floor stays busy. Most of the guys have been here since the start. We drink tea at the same time every afternoon. If you walk past 4th Phase, you’ll probably hear the humming from our unit. We just focus on getting the parts out of the door without too much fuss. It gets hot in the summer, especially near the back where the ventilation isn't great. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the raw materials take up all the floor space. It’s just how a workshop runs. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big lobby. People come to us because they know where we are and what we do. It’s a simple setup at 490-L and we just keep our heads down and work hard every single day to finish on time.
