Architects & Interior

We are based at number 78, Sumukha, in the Royal Hermitage area off Bannerghata Road. It is a bit of a way out from the center of Bangalore, but it is where we have set up our shop. At Architects & Interior, we handle both the outside and the inside of buildings. Most people come to us because they want someone who can take a project from the bare walls to the final furniture. Our office is usually full of samples—bits of granite, wood laminates, and different paint swatches. It is messy, but it is how we work. We are not interested in being a polished corporate firm. We are just a small team of people who like to build things. We spend a lot of time on site because things in Bangalore never go exactly as they are on the drawings. You have to be there to talk to the carpenters and the masons. We do not use big words or try to impress anyone with complicated designs. We just want to make homes and offices that feel comfortable and work well. If a design is too expensive or impractical, we will tell you right away. We have been working in this area for a while and we know the local suppliers and what works in this climate. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, but seeing a project finished and someone moving in is always a good feeling.
