We’ve got our office set up at 120/3Jaya Nagar. It’s a local spot and we like being part of the community here. Most of our work involves helping people figure out what to do with their buildings, whether they are just starting from a patch of dirt or trying to renovate an old place. We handle both the outside stuff and the inside bits. It's a lot to keep track of, honestly. You have to think about plumbing and wiring just as much as you think about where the windows go. We spend a lot of time at our desks in Jaya Nagar looking at technical drawings. Then we go out to the sites to see if the builders are actually following them. Sometimes they have better ideas than we do, and we have to adjust. That's just part of the process. We don't pretend to have all the answers right away. It takes time to get a building right. Our office isn't a showroom; it's a place where work happens. There are rolls of paper everywhere and samples of stone sitting on the floor. It might look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but it makes sense to us. We just want to do a decent job so the buildings we work on last a long time. It’s steady work and it keeps us on our toes every single day. We are usually here early and leave late, but that is the life of an architect.
