Anjana Engineers has been operating out of Kurubarahalli Road 34 B for some time. If you come by, you’ll hear the sound of machines running and maybe see some sparks if someone is welding in the back. The shop isn't exactly tidy, but that is because we are always in the middle of three different projects at once. We handle all sorts of mechanical stuff and engineering bits that people bring in. Sometimes it’s a broken part from a factory, and other times it’s something someone designed on a napkin. We have some old lathes and drills that have been with us since the beginning, and they still work better than the new stuff sometimes. 34 B is a solid brick building that stays relatively cool, which is good when you’re working with metal all day. We don’t really do much advertising because most folks find us through word of mouth around Kurubarahalli Road. Our hands are usually covered in oil or grease by ten in the morning. It’s the kind of place where we keep the radio on in the background, mostly playing old songs while we work. We don't have a receptionist, so if you walk in, you just have to shout a bit until someone hears you over the noise. We take pride in figuring out how to fix things that other people might just throw away. It’s just how we do things here, day in and day out, making parts and solving problems.
