You can find us over at No.51 on the 2nd Cross in Sundar Nagar, Mathikere. It’s a quiet enough street most days until we start getting the big pots out. We’ve been doing this catering thing for a while now. The kitchen usually smells like spices from early in the morning. We don’t have a big corporate setup. It’s just a local place where we prep everything by hand. Sometimes we are up before the sun to get started on orders. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day, but we are used to it. The neighborhood knows us well. We see the same faces walking by every day. We don’t really use fancy words to describe what we do. We just cook food and get it to where it needs to go. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time navigating the narrow cross streets, but we manage. Our space is filled with big stainless steel containers and bags of rice. It’s not a showroom, it’s a working kitchen. We do a lot of local events and weddings. People just call us up when they have a function. We don't have a big website or anything. Most of our work comes from word of mouth. If the food is good, people tell their cousins. That’s how we’ve stayed in business all these years in Mathikere.
