Ammis Biryani

We are located at M S Towers, which is right on the corner of Cubbon Road and Lady Curzon Road in Bangalore. It’s a very central spot, right next to where Larsen & Toubro is. If you know that area, you know how much traffic passes by every single day. We’ve been at Bearing No.39 for a good bit of time now. The building is easy to find if you're looking for the big landmarks around here. Inside, we just keep things moving. We start early in the kitchen because biryani takes time to get right. It’s not something you can rush. The smells start filling up the space long before we actually open for the first customer. Bangalore is always busy, and our little corner of Lady Curzon Road is no different. We get people from the offices nearby and folks just passing through the city center. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just wear what's practical for working in a kitchen. The tables are simple, and we try to keep the place as cool as possible during the afternoons. It gets a bit hectic during the lunch hour, which is to be expected in this part of town. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just cook and serve. That’s the long and short of it. It’s a decent place to grab a meal when you're in the middle of town.
