Altran Technologies (India) Ltd

Working at Lavelle Road 8th Cross M 01 is pretty interesting. It’s a central part of the city, so there’s always something happening outside. Altran Technologies (India) Ltd is the name on our badges, but we just feel like a small team in a big building. The office has those typical grey cubicles, though we’ve tried to make them look a bit more human with photos or small plants that we forget to water. The light in here is a bit bright, the kind of fluorescent glow that makes you blink a lot after a few hours. We spend our days mostly on computers, dealing with technical stuff that can be quite frustrating when it doesn't work right. Sometimes we just sit there staring at the screen waiting for a progress bar to finish. We aren't big on fancy speeches or anything. We just talk about the work and what needs to be done by Friday. There’s a lot of back and forth between the desks. The elevator in this building is famously slow, so we usually just take the stairs if we’re only going down one floor. It’s a good way to stretch the legs anyway. We get our coffee from a machine that doesn't always work, which is the biggest drama of our day usually. It’s just a standard office job where we try to stay on top of things and go home on time before the traffic gets too bad.
