We are located at No-37 in Bhramanand Court, specifically on the ground floor in the eastern wing on Lal Bagh Road. It is a solid building, though it’s seen better days, and being on the ground floor makes it easy for folks to find us without having to mess with the stairs or a slow elevator. The eastern wing stays a bit cooler than the rest of the place, which is nice when the weather gets really hot outside in the afternoons. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets that are probably fuller than they should be at this point. We’ve got a small area in the corner where we keep our coats and lunch boxes. Most of the work involves a lot of reading and writing, so it stays pretty quiet in here most of the time. Lal Bagh Road is always humming with traffic, so there is a constant background noise of cars and buses passing by outside. Sometimes we go out for tea at the small stall down the street when we need a quick break from the screens. It’s a very routine kind of job, really. We come in, do what needs to be done, and head home when the sun starts going down. We don’t really do anything flashy here. It’s just a group of people working in an office space that feels like home after you’ve been here long enough. The floor tiles are a bit worn out, but the space serves its purpose.
