Allen Engineering Works

You’ll find Allen Engineering Works over in Jalahalli West, near Udupa Garden on S M Road. We’ve been at number 4 for quite a while now. The shop is a typical engineering setup—lots of heavy tools, welding gear, and bits of scrap metal waiting to be used for something else. It isn't the cleanest place in the world, but everything has its spot, even if only we know where that is. Most mornings start with a cup of tea and a look at the list of things that need fixing or building. We handle a lot of different jobs, from small repairs to bigger assemblies that take up most of the floor space. The neighborhood around Udupa Garden is nice, though the S M Road can get pretty loud with trucks. We don’t go in for big advertisements or fancy signs. Most people find us because they’ve heard we can fix things that others won’t touch. It’s a lot of manual labor and getting our clothes dirty, but there’s a good feeling in finishing a job that was giving us a hard time. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for parts to arrive, which can be frustrating for everyone, but that’s just the way it goes. We’re just a small crew doing engineering work the old-fashioned way, focusing on the task at hand until it’s done right. We've got enough grease under our fingernails to prove we've been working hard in Jalahalli West all day.
