Alfa Time Centre

We have been at 23/2 K N Extension for a good while now. It’s right there on Triveni Road near the 3rd Cross in Yeshwantpur. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but it’s where I spend most of my day. I started out just helping around years ago, and now I basically run the place. We deal with all sorts of watches and clocks that people bring in from around the neighborhood. Sometimes they are old family pieces that stopped working, and other times it's just a cheap plastic clock that needs a new battery. I have my tools spread out on the bench, and it stays pretty messy because there is always something to fix. The neighborhood has gotten a lot louder lately with more traffic coming through Yeshwantpur. People stop by on their way to work or when they’re out running errands on the weekend. I don’t really have a big staff, just me and occasionally a family member to help out. We have some shelves with new items, but the real work happens in the back. It’s a simple life, honestly. You get to know the regulars and what they like. I don't use a computer for much here; I still keep most notes in a paper ledger. If you’re looking for the place, just look for the sign near the corner. It is a bit dusty inside, but I know where every spring and gear is located. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in to visit.
