You can find Al-Haidery Glass & Building Materials up on the first floor, in Cabin A at 144/2 on the Cotton Pet Main Road. Being on the main road means it's always noisy and crowded outside, which is just how things are in this part of town. Our space is a bit cramped because we have to store a lot of samples and hardware items in a small area. We mostly deal with glass and various bits and pieces people need for construction. People come up the stairs all day asking about prices or looking for a specific type of fitting. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for the sign, but we’ve been here long enough that most locals know the spot. The stairs are a bit narrow, so carrying big items down can be a struggle sometimes. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to contractors who stop by. It gets dusty with all the traffic, and we're constantly wiping down the glass samples. We don’t have a big corporate setup, just a desk and some shelves. It’s a bit of a squeeze, but it works for us. We just try to keep track of what’s in stock and help whoever walks through the door. Cotton Pet is a busy place to do business, but we wouldn't be anywhere else.
