United Glass

United Glass is located at 100/13 Seshadripuram PCNTDA. We are right opposite the New Timber Corporation, which is a big landmark that most people in the area know. The shop is always a bit dusty because of all the wood being cut across the road, but that is just the environment here. Working with glass means we have to be careful every single minute. One wrong move and something expensive breaks. We have racks of different glass sheets leaning against the walls and the smell of cutting oil and glass cleaner is always in the air. The PCNTDA area is quite industrial, so there’s always the sound of machinery or heavy trucks idling nearby. Our space isn't decorated or anything like that. It’s got concrete floors and some heavy-duty tables where we do the cutting and the edging. We spend a lot of time measuring things twice and then measuring them again just to be safe. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is necessary. Sometimes we have to deal with odd-sized pieces that take forever to get right. The office part is just a small corner with a table where we write out the bills. We don't have a website that works properly or a marketing team. If people need glass, they usually just find us because we’ve been at this Seshadripuram spot for a long time. It’s a gritty, busy place but it’s where we do our best work every day.
