Akash Glass & Frame Works

We've been at 7D, H.D. Devegowda Road for a while now. Thimmaiah Garden is where you'll find us, right near the R.T. Nagar Post area. It's just a regular shop where we deal with glass and framing stuff every day. People come in with broken window panes or a picture they want to put on their wall. We spend most of the morning measuring things out and making sure the edges aren't sharp. The workshop is usually a bit dusty from all the wood shavings and glass pieces, but that's how it goes. Sometimes it gets busy when a big order comes in, other times it's just neighbors stopping by for small repairs. My hands are usually a bit rough from the work, but I don't mind. We keep a variety of frames in the back, some plain and some with a bit more detail. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. If you're driving down H.D. Devegowda Road, you might see us there. The light in the shop is always bright because we need to see what we're doing with the glass. Most days start early and end late, especially when someone needs a frame finished by the next morning. It’s just how the business runs here. We’ve got the tools and the glass sheets ready. It’s simple work, but it takes patience to get the measurements right so everything fits into the frame without any gaps. It's just us here most days.
