You can find us over at Plot No. 95 in Maruti Nagar, specifically on the 4th Main and 6th Cross near Chandra Layout. Our shop is where we do all the cutting and assembling for aluminium frames and glass work. It is a pretty busy corner of the neighborhood, and you can often see us out front loading window frames onto a cart or unloading big sheets of glass very carefully. The floor is usually covered in little silver bits of aluminium from the saws. We spend most of our time measuring twice and cutting once, trying to make sure everything fits the way it should for the houses and shops we work on. Sometimes a piece of glass breaks and we have to start over, which is frustrating, but it happens in this line of work. We have a few guys here who have been doing this for years, and they can tell if a frame is square just by looking at it. The humidity sometimes makes the shop feel a bit heavy, but we just keep working through it. People from around Chandra Layout often walk in to ask about a broken window or a new door they want to put in. We don't have a showroom or anything like that, just the workspace where the actual labor happens every day from Monday to Saturday.
