We are situated at 28/3 in the GIDC Estate, Makarpur, within Banashankari 2nd Stage. It’s an industrial area, so it’s mostly warehouses and factories around us. We work with fiberglass all day, which can be a bit itchy if you aren't used to it. The workshop is big and has high ceilings to keep the air moving, though it still gets quite warm. We have large rolls of material and vats of resin sitting around. It’s a bit of a messy process, and our boots usually have bits of dried glass fiber stuck to them. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor or in the small office nook near the back. The noise from the cutters can be quite loud, so we use hand signals sometimes. Most of the staff has been here since the beginning. We just focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the molds are clean. It’s a lot of manual labor and technical checking. The road outside 28/3 is a bit bumpy, so we have to be careful when loading the finished products onto the trucks. It’s a practical business. We don't have any corporate slogans on the walls, just some old calendars and safety notices. We just do the work we know how to do here in Makarpur, and that’s plenty to keep us busy.
