Ak Enginering Works

You can find Ak Enginering Works over at Plot No. 97 in the Whitefield Industrial area. We’re right by the Timshathalli Cross, which is always a bit of a mess with traffic these days. It used to be quieter, but that’s how Whitefield goes. Our shop is a pretty standard engineering setup. We have machines that have been with us for years, and they still run better than some of the newer stuff. There’s always the smell of cutting oil and the sound of metal being drilled or turned. It’s a loud place to work, but you get used to it after the first week. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving between the workbench and the machines. Plot 97 is our little corner of the world. We don't have a fancy lobby or a person in a suit to greet you at the door. You usually just find one of us with grease on our hands ready to talk about whatever job you need done. The Timshathalli Cross is a good landmark, but the dust from the road construction is always an issue. We just sweep it out and keep working. It’s a practical life, making things and fixing things. We don't think much about it beyond getting the work finished. It’s what we know. We stay late some nights when a job is stubborn, but that is just how engineering goes when you are hands-on.
