I work out of a small space at Number 9/10 on 8th Main in R T Nagar. It is on the KHB Main Road, which is usually quite packed with traffic. If you are looking for the place, it is near the Pushpanjali Theater or right by the Angel Service Station. It is a convenient spot because everyone knows those landmarks. My day usually involves a lot of paperwork and meeting people who live nearby in Aditya Nagar. The office is not anything special—just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of files stacked up in the corner. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. I have been in this part of R T Nagar for a while now, so I know the shortcuts and where to get the best tea in the afternoon. It is a one-man operation most of the time, though sometimes I have someone helping out with the errands. People drop by without appointments just to ask a quick question. I do not follow a very strict corporate schedule. If the work is there, I stay late. If it is quiet, I might close up early. It is a practical way to live. I just try to be helpful to the people who walk through that door. That is about all there is to say about it.
