Aisiri Times

Our shop, Aisiri Times, is situated right at 1760 near the Navrang Circle in Rajajinagar. It is a loud place because of all the buses and cars constantly going around the circle, but we have gotten used to the noise over the years. Inside the shop, things are much quieter, mostly just the sound of different clocks ticking on the walls. We do a lot of watch repairs here. People bring in everything from those old winding watches their grandfathers owned to the newer battery-operated ones. Sometimes we have to tell them that a watch isn't worth fixing, which is never a fun conversation to have. We try to be fair about it though. The shop is small and can get a bit cramped if more than two people are waiting. We have a glass counter where we keep some of the watches we sell, but most of our work happens at the back on the small wooden bench. The light isn't always the best, so we use these bright lamps to see the tiny parts inside the watches. It takes a lot of patience to get the gears lined up just right. We have been here a long time and the neighbors know us. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Rajajinagar, we just want to keep things running on time for the people who live around here.
