Aggrawal General Store

We are located in the Muniyappa Building right at Shop No- 21. It is quite close to the Gurudwara at Chickkthogur Gate, so we get a lot of people stopping by after they visit there. Bommanahalli is a busy area and the noise from the road never really stops. I spend most of my day at the counter checking what is left on the wooden shelves. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late and I have to wait outside in the heat. People usually come in for small things like salt, oil, or some biscuits for their children. It is not a fancy place at all. We have the fans running all day long because it gets very warm here in Sector 28. Usually, I am at the shop by 8 in the morning to get things ready. My cousin helps out when it gets crowded in the evenings after everyone gets off work. The plot number is 11, but most people just look for the big gate nearby to find us. We have been in this spot for a while now. The floor gets very dusty from the traffic outside, so I have to sweep it at least twice a day. It is just a regular shop where you can get what you need for the kitchen. Nothing special, just hard work every day. Sometimes neighbors stop by just to talk about the weather or the traffic. I keep a diary for the accounts, but mostly I just remember who needs what.
