Afsar Engineering Work

We run Afsar Engineering Work out of 41275 Byatayanapura 6th Cross. Being right off Mysore Road means there is always a lot of heavy traffic and noise around us. Our workshop is a place where we do a lot of metalwork and repairs. There is usually the sound of grinding or welding going on throughout the day. The floor is stained with grease and there are metal scraps in the bins. It’s a tough environment but it’s where we feel at home. We have been in Byatrayanapura for a long time and the locals know us for our basic engineering fixes. We don't have a fancy office, just a small corner with a desk and some old ledgers. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or people driving by on Mysore Road who need something fixed. The 6th cross is a narrow street, so it can get tight when we have big items to move. We work six days a week and our hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning. We use old-fashioned tools that have lasted us for decades. It’s not about having the latest gadgets; it’s about knowing how to handle the steel. Sometimes we have to wait for parts to arrive from other parts of the city. We just take it as it comes and try to get the work out the door as soon as it's ready.
