We are located over by the Subhash Bridge in the Krishnarajpuram area. Aakar Architectures And Interior Designers is basically a local workshop where we figure out how to make rooms look better and buildings stand up right. Being near the bridge means there is always traffic and noise outside, but we get used to it. Inside, it is mostly just us working on interior layouts and architectural plans. We do not really go for the high-end office look. Our space is more about having enough room for the big tables where we spread out the designs. People from around Krishnarajpuram know us as the place to go when they have a project in mind but do not know where to start. We do a lot of sketching and a lot of talking to suppliers. It is not always a smooth process, things go wrong and we have to fix them on the fly. That is just part of the job. We do not have a polished pitch or a fancy brochure. If you walk in, you will probably see someone measuring a sample or arguing over a floor plan. We like it that way because it feels real. Working on interiors means we get into the details of how people live and move in their spaces. It is a bit messy sometimes, with all the samples and blueprints everywhere, but we manage.
