Shree Om Traders

We have been here at Shop B-2 in the Kirloskar Complex for quite some time now. Budhwar Peth is always a busy place, and being in Tilak Wadi means there is always someone coming through the door. It’s not a very big shop, but we try to keep it organized enough so people can find what they need without too much trouble. Sometimes the stock piles up near the entrance, especially on Mondays when new deliveries arrive, but that is just how it goes when you are running a trading business. I remember when we first moved into this complex, it was much quieter, but now there is so much noise from the street outside. We just get on with our work. Dealing with different suppliers takes up most of our morning, and then the afternoon is usually spent talking to locals or checking the ledger. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a regular shop where we do our business every day from morning until the shutters go down at night. If you walk past the Kirloskar Complex, you will probably see me or one of the boys moving boxes around. It’s hard work, and the heat in the afternoons can get a bit much, but it’s what we do. We’ve known most of the other shopkeepers around here for years, so it feels like a little community. That’s pretty much the story of Shree Om Traders.
