We are over at B-1 in the Angol Industrial Estate. If you come by, you’ll see the sign is a bit faded from the sun. The workshop isn't very large, but we have enough space for the sand pits and the casting equipment we use every day. It’s a dusty kind of job, and there is always a layer of sand on the floor no matter how much we sweep. We started out small and haven't really felt the need to change much. The machines we use are old but they still run fine if you treat them right. We don't have a lot of fancy automation. Most of the work is done by hand, which means we get tired by the end of the shift. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard, so we have to move some things around during the monsoon. It is just a group of us who have been working together for years. We know the quirks of the furnace and how the metal behaves when it’s cooling. There isn't much to say about the place other than it’s where we work. We don't do any big advertising. People just know we are here in Angol. We show up, do the work, and go home to our families. It is a simple life in a busy industrial area.
