We've been over at the K.S.S.I.D.C. Industrial Estate in Angol for quite a while now. Running a foundry like Alucast Foundries Belgaum Pvt.Ltd. isn't always easy, but it’s what we do day in and day out. Most days you'll find us busy with the furnace and the molds. It’s hot work, and the floors get dusty, but that’s just the nature of the business. We started out small and just kept at it. There’s a lot of metal moving through here, and someone’s always got a tool in their hand. Our spot at B-16 is easy enough to find if you know the area. People around here know us as the folks who just get on with the job. We don’t have fancy offices or a big reception area because most of our time is spent on the floor where the real work happens. Sometimes the machines act up or the weather makes things difficult, but we manage. It’s a group of us who have been working together for years, so we have a rhythm. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. Just a local foundry doing what needs to be done. We keep things pretty simple around here. If you walk by, you’ll hear the noise and see the smoke, which usually means things are going okay. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy and we’ve made a life out of it here in Belgaum.
