We are based at 689 in Udyambag. If you know this area, you know it's the heart of the industrial side of things. It’s a place where people actually make stuff. Our foundry is a bit of an old-school operation. There’s a lot of heat, sand, and the smell of molten metal in the air. It’s not a clean job, but we’ve been doing it for years and we like it. The building itself has seen better days, but the equipment inside works just fine. We mostly focus on casting parts that other companies need for their machines. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for a long time. The workers here are tough and they know how to handle the molds. We have our tea breaks out front and talk about how the day is going. It gets pretty loud when the furnace is running, so you have to shout a bit to be heard. We don't put on airs or try to act bigger than we are. We are just a small foundry in Udyambag trying to do a decent job with the metal we pour. Sometimes things go wrong with a casting and we have to start over, but that’s just part of the business. We keep our heads down and stay busy with the work. It’s a good way to earn a living. We’ve been here a long time.
