Abhishek Alloys is located at Plot No. 58 in the Machhe Industrial Estate. Machhe is one of those places where everyone seems to be making something out of metal. Our spot is pretty standard for the area. We have our equipment set up and the crew knows exactly what to do when they walk in at 8 AM. It’s hard work, dealing with alloys and heat all day. The floor gets warm, and there’s always a bit of grit in the air, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We don't have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you with a tray of water. Usually, you have to find someone near the machines if you want to talk. We’ve got a small office for the basic stuff, but most of the life happens out on the shop floor. We’ve stayed in Machhe because it makes sense for what we do. The neighbors are doing similar things, so there’s a certain understanding between all of us. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making sure our orders are filled and the quality is okay. Some days are smoother than others. Machines break down or a shipment is late, and we just deal with it. It’s a local business run by local people who have been around the block a few times. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It might be noisy and messy, but it is home to us.
