Gunda Jewellers

We've been at 1297 Main-Road for a while now. Most folks in Athni know where Gunda Jewellers is. It's a busy spot, especially on market days. We open up the shutters every morning and start sorting through the pieces. Some days it’s just locals dropping by to ask about a small repair or to see what’s new in the cases. Being here in Belgaum means we see all sorts of people. We try to keep things simple. The shop isn't huge but we have enough room for everyone who walks through the door. Sometimes the street gets noisy with the traffic outside on Main-Road, but inside it’s just us doing our work. We focus on the jewelry and making sure things are handled right. It’s not a fancy corporate office, just a regular shop where we spend our days. People know us by name, and we know theirs. That's just how it is here. You might see us cleaning the glass or talking to a neighbor while the tea gets cold on the counter. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but 1297 is still where we stay. It's a lot of work keeping up with everything, but it’s what we do. We don't have a big marketing team, it's just us at the counter. We take our time with each person who comes in. It doesn't matter if they are buying something small or just looking around. We stay open until the sun goes down and then we lock up for the night.
