Shiv Malhaar Hotel

Our hotel is situated on the Vengurla-Belgaum Road in an area called Shindolli, specifically near Amboli Hill. If you are driving this route, you will see us right opposite the police check post. It is a bit of a climb up here and the air is usually a little different than it is down in the main city of Belgaum. We are not a luxury resort; we are a roadside hotel for travelers and people moving between the towns. The location is handy because the check post is a natural stopping point for many. We have a few rooms and a place to sit and eat. The building is simple, painted in a plain color, and fits in with the other structures along the highway. We see a lot of people who are tired from the drive and just want to sit for a bit. The view around here is mostly trees and the road. We don't have a fancy menu or a big staff. It is just a small team of us taking care of the guests and the kitchen. The road can be busy during the day, but it gets very quiet at night. We have been here for a while and the locals from Shindolli know us. It is a straightforward place to stop when you are on the way to the hills. We don't bother with much advertising, we just keep the lights on for whoever passes by.
