Hotel Malasa Mangalya

Our place, Hotel Malasa Mangalya, is located on Club Road in Belgaum. We are right opposite the Government Civil Hospital. This means we see a lot of people coming in from out of town who have business at the hospital. It’s a serious part of the city, in a way. Club Road itself is a well-known street. We are lucky to be in a spot that’s easy to find. The building is simple and doesn’t stand out too much. We like it that way. Running a hotel across from a hospital means we have to be ready at odd hours. People arrive late or have to leave very early. We try to be there for them. The atmosphere isn't about being on vacation; it's more about being convenient. We spend our days checking people in and making sure the rooms are decent. It’s a lot of physical work. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. It’s just the staff doing their jobs. Belgaum has nice weather most of the year, so we keep the windows open when we can. The noise from the hospital and the road is just part of the background now. We’ve been here for a bit and we know the local area well. If someone needs something, we usually know where to find it. We just run a basic, honest place for the people.
