Hotel Malhar Family Restaurant (Veg & Non Veg)

We are over in the Hosur area of Belgaum, specifically at 325/1 Basavana Galli. It’s a family-run place. We do both veg and non-veg food here. The restaurant is located in a more residential-feeling part of Hosur compared to the big main roads. It’s a bit tucked away, but people find us. We have regulars who come in every week. Sometimes it’s a bit noisy when the whole family is working in the kitchen. We aren't professional chefs from some big school; we just cook the way we know how. The building is just a regular house-style structure that we’ve converted. It’s got a lot of character, maybe some cracked tiles here and there, but it’s clean. We spend most of our time in the back preparing ingredients. It’s hard work, especially when it’s busy during the dinner rush. We don't have a fancy menu with photos. It’s just a list of what we have. Sometimes we run out of things if the market didn't have good produce that morning. That’s just how we run things. We want people to feel okay sitting here, like they’re in a normal neighborhood spot. There’s no big mission statement on the wall. We just want to serve the food and keep the place going for another day. It’s a simple life for us here in Basavana Galli and we like it.
