Hotel My Food is sitting right on Plot No.1 on Khanapur Road. We are at that spot people call the RPD Corner in Tilakwadi, Belgaum. It’s a busy intersection, and you can always hear the bikes and buses zooming past outside. We’ve been here long enough that we’re just part of the scenery now. The name is simple because that’s how we like things. We don't go for anything complicated or over the top. I’m usually here from the morning till late at night, making sure everything is moving along. The staff is mostly local guys who’ve been with me for a bit. We get a lot of students from the nearby colleges and people who work in the offices around Tilakwadi. The corner gets really packed during rush hour, and sometimes it’s hard for people to park, but they still find their way in. We just focus on getting the orders out and keeping the place from getting too messy when the lunch rush hits. It’s a lot of routine—cleaning floors, wiping tables, and checking the stock in the pantry. We don't have a big marketing plan or a website with shiny photos. We just stay open and wait for people to get hungry. It’s a regular life for us, just running a food place on a corner in Belgaum and hoping the rain doesn't leak through the door when the monsoon comes.
