Sahara Steels

Sahara Steels is located right on the Main Road in Peeranwadi, specifically on Khanapur Road. It’s a busy spot with trucks passing by all day long. We deal with all sorts of steel pieces and it gets pretty loud with the cutting and loading. We’ve been at this location for some time now. The building isn't brand new, but it holds everything we need and keeps the rain off the stock. Most of our day is spent answering the phone and checking the inventory we have left. People stop their bikes or cars right outside to ask about prices or sizes. It’s a bit of a dusty job, handling metal all day, and our hands are usually a bit dirty by noon. We don't wear suits here. It's just work clothes and boots. We have a couple of guys who help with the heavy lifting because some of those beams are no joke for one person. Sometimes we run out of a certain size and have to wait for the next delivery to come in from the bigger suppliers. We don't do much advertising; mostly it's just people seeing us while they're driving toward Khanapur. We usually try to help out when someone comes in with a sketch on a piece of scrap paper. It’s just a regular shop doing regular work. We like the pace of things here in Peeranwadi. It stays busy from morning until we close the shutters.
