We run our operations from Plot No. 75 in the Honaga Industrial Estate. It is part of the KIADB area, and our company is Big Casting Pvt. Ltd. Being in an industrial zone means there are always trucks passing by and the sound of heavy machinery in the air. Our workshop is exactly what you would expect. The floors are made of thick concrete and there’s usually a bit of sand or metal dust around. It gets very hot near the furnace, especially during the summer months when the air doesn't move much. We do casting work, which is heavy and can be quite dirty, but it's what we are good at. The guys working the floor have been doing this for a long time and they know the machines inside and out. We don’t have a marketing department or a fancy website. If someone needs something cast, they usually just show up at the gate and ask for us. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit muddy, but we just put on our boots and keep going. It’s straightforward, honest work. We spend a lot of time on maintenance to keep everything running because downtime is a real problem. We like being in Honaga because all the supplies we need are right nearby. It’s a practical place to be. We just focus on the metal and getting the shapes right for the customers.
